The client
Legal Helpline describes itself as an FCA-regulated claims management company. It gives free advice on compensation claims 24 hours a day and, where someone may have a case, connects them with a solicitor from its panel who may act on a No Win No Fee basis.
What they needed
A full redesign that organised the site’s content into clear claim areas and gave their own team a guide template they could edit themselves.
What we built
- Seven claim areas. Personal injury, accident at work, road traffic, medical negligence, data breach, criminal injury and public liability. Each has its own hub guide and its own place in the main menu.
- A 210-link menu. The seven areas open into 210 links in 19 groups, with a side rail listing each group and a “Not sure which applies?” link to the callback form. On phones the same links sit in a drawer, grouped by claim area.
- A reusable guide template. Every guide gets the same frame: breadcrumbs, title, author, last-updated date and a start-your-claim panel with the freephone number, then an author bio, a callback form and a closing call to action after the article.
- Guides the team edits themselves. The article text comes from each page’s own WordPress content, so the team writes in WordPress while the layout, calls to action and forms stay consistent on every guide.
- A new homepage. A one-question claim checker, the ways to get help (freephone, callback and live chat), the claim types, the process in three steps and a callback form.
How we built it
We built the redesign in WordPress with Elementor Pro theme templates. The header, footer and guide layout are each a single template, so a change to the guide template updates every guide on the site at once.
