Technical SEO

Technical SEO: if search engines can't read it, they won't rank it.

Inspiry Solutions fixes the crawl, index and structure problems that quietly cap your visibility, long before they show up in your traffic.

For ranking drops, indexing gaps and bad migrations.

Technical foundations

The details that keep search performance healthy.

Crawl, indexing and understanding work together. When all three are aligned, search engines can find, process and properly understand your content.

01

Crawl

Search engines discover your pages through links, sitemaps and more.

  • Robots
  • Sitemaps
  • Status codes
  • Redirects
02

Index

Discovered pages are analysed and stored in the index.

  • Canonicals
  • Indexation
  • Duplicate URLs
  • Pagination
03

Understand

Search engines interpret your content to show it for relevant searches.

  • Schema
  • Semantic HTML
  • Entity signals
  • Internal linking

Migrations

Rebuild the site without throwing away the rankings.

Website migrations can create avoidable traffic losses. We plan redirects, URL changes, canonicals, indexing and post-launch checks before the new site goes live.

Technical SEO + performance

Technical SEO does not live separately from performance.

Slow pages, inefficient code and poor hosting affect the experience users have and the way search engines evaluate the site.

Why work with us

Technical SEO works better when the people fixing it understand the website.

01

Technical depth

We understand the underlying WordPress, hosting, code and architecture.

02

Search experience

We focus on crawlability, indexation, structure and search performance.

03

Implementation

We do not stop at recommendations. We can actually make the changes.

What the audit includes

What our technical SEO audit checks and delivers.

We start with a full crawl of the site and compare it with what Google reports in Search Console: indexing status, crawl stats and any manual actions. That shows which URLs search engines find, which they skip and why.

We then check robots.txt rules, meta robots and X-Robots-Tag directives, XML sitemaps, status codes, redirect chains, canonical tags and duplicate or parameter URLs. We test how JavaScript renders, so content and links that only appear after scripts run are not missed, and we analyse server log files to see how Googlebot actually spends its crawl budget.

Finally we review site architecture, internal linking, structured data, Core Web Vitals and mobile rendering, plus hreflang (opens in a new tab) for sites that serve more than one country or language. Every finding goes into a prioritised fix list with the evidence behind it.

01Crawl and index report
  • Every URL with its status code and directives
  • Search Console indexing review
  • Pages that should rank but are not indexed, and why
02Prioritised fix list
  • Each issue ranked by impact and effort
  • Exact changes for redirects, canonicals and robots rules
  • Schema and internal linking recommendations
03Next steps
  • Findings explained in plain language
  • An implementation quote for our team or yours
  • A re-crawl after fixes to confirm they worked

More than a report. You get a prioritised list of what needs fixing, what can wait and why.

Questions

Technical SEO audit questions.

What does a technical SEO audit include?

A full crawl compared with Search Console, then robots rules, sitemaps, status codes, redirects, canonicals, JavaScript rendering, log files, architecture, internal linking, structured data and Core Web Vitals. It ends with a prioritised fix list and the evidence behind each item.

Will a website migration lose our rankings?

Not if it is planned. We map every old URL to its new address, keep titles, metadata and internal links intact, and check crawling and indexing after launch. Most traffic lost in a migration comes from missing redirects, which is exactly what we prevent.

Can you fix technical SEO issues directly?

Yes. Inspiry Solutions implements the fixes on your site, from redirects and canonicals to templates and internal links, rather than handing over a report and leaving. If your own team prefers to do the work, we can brief them instead.

Why are some pages not being indexed?

Usually a crawl, canonical, thin-content or robots directive issue. The audit compares what we crawl with what Google reports in Search Console, so we can show exactly which pages are excluded and why before fixing them.

Can you recover rankings lost in a migration?

Often, yes. We compare the old and new URL structures, restore missing redirects and metadata, and fix the indexing problems the move introduced. The sooner we start after a poorly planned migration, the more of the lost traffic can usually be recovered.

Do you work with WordPress?

Yes. Technical SEO and WordPress development are two sides of the same work for us, so we fix issues in templates, plugins and hosting as well as in content, rather than recommending changes someone else has to make.

How long does technical SEO take?

The free audit arrives within two working days. A full technical SEO audit takes 2-4 weeks, and implementation depends on what it finds.

Do you provide ongoing technical SEO support?

Yes. Alongside one-off audits, ongoing technical SEO is part of the monthly growth retainer: we monitor crawling and indexing, fix new issues as they appear and report the changes. It has a three-month minimum, then runs month to month.

How much does a technical SEO audit cost?

The free audit costs nothing and arrives within two working days. A full technical SEO audit starts from $600 and takes 2-4 weeks, ending with a prioritised fix list. Implementation is quoted separately once we know what the audit found.
