The client

Telemachos Group trains English and humanities teachers in reading and writing methods drawn from brain research, psychology and athletic coaching. It also publishes guided classroom editions of classic texts as Telemachos Publications.

What they needed

One site to sell three different things: places on paid workshops, books, and consulting for schools.

What we built

  • Paid workshop registration. Each workshop is a WooCommerce product with its own page showing the date, price, length and venue, and a register button that goes straight to checkout.
  • A shop for the guided editions. Print and e-book titles, including guided editions of Macbeth, Frankenstein and The Great Gatsby, sold through the same cart and checkout as workshop places.
  • Consulting. A page setting out three services for schools (faculty workshops, coaching for individual teachers and department-wide alignment), each linked to an enquiry form.
  • A blog. Articles on brain-based teaching and what English teachers can learn from coaching.

How we built it

We built the site white label for a US web design studio, on WordPress and WooCommerce with Elementor Pro. Workshops have their own content type as well as their product, so each session gets a proper page while payment runs through one checkout.
